I might even look into those, my main problem is the smallness of my hands, honestly they are like childs hands but unfortunately I have yet to find proper riding gloves in child sizes even.

After looking at those gloves I have one concern, when I pull in the clutch I use just the very tips of my fingers, that's why I have trouble with gloves if they are a touch too big my fingers miss and slip off the clutch. Those over gloves look like they fit with a lot of room to spare, is that the case?Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06395364582355269753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5078765543853720407.post-75475034043016269342012-06-05T13:17:45.761+10:002012-06-05T13:17:45.761+10:00I'm glad you're enjoying my story so far :...I'm glad you're enjoying my story so far :) Yeah that's one of my pavourite pics too.

I'm thinking the heated grips may be the way to go too Brandy I'm not sure what hand guards would look like on the shadow though, I've certainly never seen them anywhere for a cruiser style bike.Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06395364582355269753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5078765543853720407.post-67728298483586249172012-06-05T08:12:22.994+10:002012-06-05T08:12:22.994+10:00Great trip so far Brenda! For keeping your hands ...Great trip so far Brenda! For keeping your hands dry and warm, have a look at these NZ made overmitts: http://www.rain-off.com/. I swear by them. Tough, but thin so you don't lose any feel. And MUCH cheaper than bulky winter gloves that develop leaks eventually :-).Geoff Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05041523109817248619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5078765543853720407.post-32225746151393023862012-06-05T01:13:41.363+10:002012-06-05T01:13:41.363+10:00You guys sure had an adventure. I especially liked the picture of you and hubby together.

And Chillertek is correct. No one likes that feeling of being completely dry while riding in the rain and all of sudden you feel a cold trickle in parts you don't want a cold trickle. Whether in your boots, down your jacket, or in your crotch, cold trickles are never any good. :-)

For your cold hands you may want to get grip heaters for your bike or even hand guards. I have both on mine because of poor circulation and year round riding. I couldn't ride during the winter without them.Trobairitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03453398807198746434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5078765543853720407.post-54905299626669981212012-06-04T23:42:29.529+10:002012-06-04T23:42:29.529+10:00Oh you ever heard of a chick magnet ... Mind you I'm still glad I didnt do Cunningham's Gap in the wet, twisties and rain still aren't my idea of utopiaBrendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06395364582355269753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5078765543853720407.post-84472162069213081002012-06-04T21:02:52.629+10:002012-06-04T21:02:52.629+10:00Ha ha it hasn't taken you long to start chatti...Ha ha it hasn't taken you long to start chatting up other men whilst out riding....

Great ride report. Keep em coming. I see your a bit put off by the rain but as long as you keep dry and concentrait on what your doing you will be fine. Nothing worse than riding and then the rain seeps in when you have wet weather gear on. At least the bikes stayed nice an dry!Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10160712689280276620noreply@blogger.com
